We work with local pharmacies to enable Pharmacists to supply a medicine to you from an agreed list if you are suffering from one of the illnesses, and a medicine is appropriate for you.

If you are exempt from prescription charges, the Receptionist can give you a voucher so you will not have to pay for the medicine. If you have to pay prescription charges many of the medicines are cheaper to buy from the Pharmacists. To gain a referral to the Pharmacist, speak to Reception Staff in the practice or to the pharmacies involved - see below. The scheme covers any of the above illnesses.
