The surgery is heavily involved in teaching and training. We host placements for doctors who are on the three-year GP training scheme, and undergraduate medical students. We do similar for nurses and pharmacists as well. All of this contributes to creating and sustaining the NHS clinical workforce. We also offer our own staff training and development so they can improve their clinical skills and knowledge, or progress their career in administration, management and leadership.
